Coercive Control Survivor Resources & Information
This page is dedicated to providing survivors of coercive control, and those who support them, with access to trusted, trauma-informed information and resources.
If you are a survivor, you are welcome and encouraged to share these resources with your therapist, advocate, social worker, or other support professional. Coercive control remains a developing area of awareness in many fields, and your provider may not have received formal training on it. WomenSV has specialized in this issue for over 15 years and is committed to bridging that gap in understanding.
If you're a concerned friend, family member or ally, these resources can also help you recognize signs of coercive control and offer informed, compassionate support to someone you care about. Please feel free to share them with anyone who may benefit.
An important note:
WomenSV is an educational center, not a crisis center!
WomenSV does not provide shelter services or legal assistance.
If you are urgently in need of immediate assistance, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at (800) 799-7233 or contact your local DV agency for support.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 988.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
